The AQA exams update is a monthly e-newsletter sent to all schools and colleges to provide exams officers with news and updates on exam processes, subjects and policy changes.
Summer 2017 is the final opportunity to take exams in AQA's outgoing GCSE, AS and A-level specifications. To help exams office staff, AQA have put together a range of resources as a reminder of what you need to know about re-sits.
Over the past few years, the Government has introduced a number of changes to qualifications and the exam system.
AQA have developed five short animations to help teachers and other colleagues understand some of the changes. These explain, the new GCSE 9-1 grading system as well as Attainment 8 and Progress 8, AQA also explain what is meant by de-coupled AS and A-levels and how they are designed to be co-teachable.
