Key Exam Dates
Please note that the information contained within our Key Dates and Exams Timetable Tools is only applicable to UK centres
One of The Exams Office's core principles is to save you time.
With the demise of government support, tools such as the Key Dates Calendar and Exams Timetable Tool are no longer available. We are aware of how long it takes exams officers to collate this information from the various awarding body websites.
All of our online tools are updated on a regular basis.
The Exams Office has also devised a tool which not previously been available to the exams office community - the Provisional Exams Timetable Tool. This enables centres to view future exams series and feedback via JCQ consultations and is availble during the spring term.
A key part of the exams officer role is meeting important deadlines. It is good practice to build an annual exams plan (see Annual exams plan template with hints and tips in our Key Documents section) to identify the external deadlines you have to meet. This should also identify internal deadlines for staff in your centre. Always allow sufficient time between your internal deadline and the external deadline to enable you to complete your administrative tasks before submitting information to the relevant awarding body.
From 1 September 2016, you will be able to select the Key Dates Calendar, Exams Timetable Tool or Provisional Summer Exams Timetable Tool icon below. The links to the awarding body websites from where the information contained in these documents is located is also supplied. You should refer to these sites for the definitive information regarding awarding body qualifications.
All of our online tools use the latest software, so please ensure that your internet browser has been updated in the last 12 months in order to access the full functionality of both the Key Dates Calendar and Exams Timetable Tool
The Key Dates Calendar and Exams Timetable Tools will be available from 1 September 2017 by clicking the icons below
Please note that due to ongoing Ofqual reforms, some dates relating to Post-Results Service in the Key Dates Calendar may not be accurate - check with your awarding body for confirmation
(The Provisional Exam Timetable Tool will be available in Spring 20187
We are the only organisation who will also be producing this information as online tools in partnership with JCQ and the major awarding bodies
