An interactive online tool containing key dates information – access to the tool is included within your centre membership to The Exams Office
What are key dates?
These are exams administration dates and deadlines provided for centres by awarding bodies. The key dates provided by an awarding body are published on the individual awarding body website.
JCQ also publishes the ‘need to know’ Key Dates for examination series where they are common to all the JCQ awarding bodies.
What the tool offers
The tool offers a composite list of the JCQ and the contributing awarding bodies key dates to support exams officers in:
- identifying the key dates and deadlines that affect their centre
- producing a personalised key dates calendar
- highlighting the key tasks to be undertaken
- informing an annual exams plan
What the tool contains
Updated each academic year, the tool contains key dates for the following organisations:
- JCQ
- AQA
- OCR
- Pearson (UK key dates)
- WJEC and Eduqas
The Exams Office thanks the above organisations for their contribution.
It is however, the responsibility of users of the tool to confirm that dates are accurate at the point of use as they may be subject to change/amendment by the originating organisation
