Completing key tasks and meeting key dates/deadlines is a key aspect of the exams officer role

To support effective planning and preparation, exams officers should be clear on what is expected of them and be aware of the awarding body administrative processes and key dates/deadlines relating to each type of qualification delivered in their centre.

 

Termly Checklists

These cover the academic year (September-August) and are intended to support exams officers in meeting key dates and deadlines and ensuring key tasks are completed during the autumn, spring and summer terms.

Note, each checklist may not be a comprehensive list for all the qualifications taken in your centre

 

  • AUTUMN TERM CHECKLIST

This checklist highlights generic key tasks to be undertaken during the autumn term

Covering the period September-December, this checklist is  annually reviewed/updated and published each August 

 

  • SPRING TERM CHECKLIST

This checklist highlights generic key tasks to be undertaken during the spring term

Covering the period January-March, this checklist is  annually reviewed/updated and published each December

 

  • SUMMER TERM CHECKLIST

This checklist highlights generic key tasks to be undertaken during the summer term

Covering the period April-August, this checklist is  annually reviewed/updated and published each March
